Tickets have gone on sale for the 3rd Annual Rock-N-Ribs Festival Rib Burn Off presented by the US Open Commission.

Six contestants have signed up to participate in this year’s competition: Taste Bud’s Catering, The Marion Country Club, Michael’s Steakhouse, Baier’s Deli, R&R’s Little Touch of Heaven, and Conway’s BBQ.

Purchasing the $12 tickets allows contestants to sample ribs from each contestant and vote for the People’s Choice Award winner.

The winner of the competition wins a trophy and the title of Marion’s Best Ribs.

Tickets will also admit the purchaser into the Battle of The Bands at the Marion Technical College/Ohio State University Marion campus for free.

Rock-n-Ribs is from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., while the rib burnoff runs from 4-7 PM on August 2nd.

The only way to guarantee that you get ribs is to purchase your ticket in advance. A There are only a limit number available as well.

Tickets can be purchased at the WDCM (Marion Online) offices at 123 East Church Street, OSUM, MTC, Marion Community Credit Union, or Streetwise Motors.
