The good news for Columbia Gas customers keeps coming. Customers on the budget payment plan will pay almost 25% less starting this fall. The average budgeted homeowner will pay $78 per month compared to $103 currently.

Columbia Gas estimates the upcoming cost of gas in setting the winter budget with an adjustment in March.

August is already the cheapest month for natural gas since October of 2002, with prices per 100 cubic foot down over 68% compared to this time last year.
