People who receive health care through an Ohio Medicaid managed care plan (MCP) will use a different process as of February 1, 2010 for getting prescriptions, diabetic supplies, inhaler spacers and peak flow meters. Medicaid will now pay for these items instead of the MCP. If you belong to a MCP you will receive a new member identification card by January 31st and will use this card when you go to the pharmacy. You can get your prescriptions at any pharmacy that accepts Ohio Medicaid. Detailed information about the changes will be mailed this month. For more information, call the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline at 1-800-324-8680 or TTY 1-800-292-3572. | ||
