Happy Holidays from the Bucyrus Public Library!
December is always a busy time of the year at the Bucyrus Public Library.
We have lots of great programming for you to take advantage of this month.
The Library's Young Adult Teen Advisory Board will be meeting at the library
on December 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the library's community room.All area
7-12th graders are invited to attend.
Stop by the library on December 6th during the Holiday Open House,
coinciding with the Holiday Open House at other area businesses that night.
The Open House will be held from 5-8 p.m.Come in for a warm cup of
wassail, check out the Hoffman Doll Exhibit, and pick up a cookbook from the
library.This year's cookbook will be a "Best Of.." compilation from past
year's cookbooks.Madeline will also be on hand to hand out candy canes to
the youngsters!
The Hoffman Challenge Dolls are currently on exhibit in the library's
community room.Call the library for exhibit times.
The Friends of the Bucyrus Public Library will be holding a book sale
December 6, 7, and 8th.Times for the sale are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on
the 6th, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the 7th and 8th.Buy a bag of
Harlequin or Silhouette romances for just $1.00 at this holiday sale!
Join us for a French Christmas on December 8th as Madeline visits the
library!This program will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the library's community
room.
December's book/film for the Books vs. Films discussion club will be Amy
Tan's The Joy Luck Club.The video can be viewed December 3rd or 13th at
7:00 p.m. Discussion will take place on December 16th at 2:00 p.m.
During the month of December, the library will have some special hours due
to the holidays. Following are a list of closings and any changes in hours:
December 23, 24, 25, 30, 31--Library will be closed.
December 26-28--Library will be open 9-6.
December 29th--Library will be open 9-5.
January 1--Library will be closed.
January 2-4--Library will be open 9-6.
Regular library hours resume on January 5, 2002.

look again at the official site of the movie starring Jim Carrey as the
Grinch! Tons of games and interactive activities. You can even get your own
Who-name! Last year, this site had a few bugs still to be worked out.Let's
