Happy New Year from the Bucyrus Public Library!

The library will be observing some holiday hours through the 4th of January.
We are open only from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.Regular library hours
will resume on Saturday, January 5th.
The Teen Advisory Board of the Bucyrus Public Library will hold their next
meeting on January 8th at 7:00 p.m.This Board is composed of students from
area high schools.Anyone who is interested in becoming a member of the
board is welcome to attend this meeting. For more information, please
contact Young Adult librarian Andrea Schimpf at 419-562-7327.
Winter and spring story hours at the Bucyrus Public Library resume the week
of January 7th.This session runs through the end of April.Themes will
include soup, snow, pets, teeth, hats, astronomy, plus all of the regular
winter and spring holidays (Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter,
April Fool).No preregistration is required.Story hours are held Monday
nights from 7:00-7:45 p.m., Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11:00 a.m and
Thursday mornings from 10:30-11:15 a.m.Current schedules are now available
at the circulation desk and in the Children's Room.For further
information, contact Barbara Scott, Children's Librarian, at 419-562-7327.
The library will be hosting a Junie B. Jones party on Saturday, January 26th
from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the library's Community Room.We will be doing
crafts, playing games, and, of course, having refreshments. Attendance for
this program is limited and preregistration is required. To register, or for

The Books vs. Films discussion group will be holding their book discussion
on Sunday, January 27th at 2:00 p.m.The book/film for this month is The
Perfect Storm.Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk.
