Area Fireworks
July 3
Crestline will have their fireworks display at Hutson Stadium on Wednesday, July 3rd at 9:30pm.  There will be a Teen Dance at 8pm at Hamilton Park.

Galion will have their fireworks display on Thursday, July 4, at dusk.

On Thursday, July 4th, Willard will set off their fireworks at dusk.

July 6
The fireworks celebration for Bucyrus will be at the fairgrounds at dusk on Saturday, July 6th.  

Prairie Garden Volunteer Day
July 6

Introduction to Astronomy
July 10
On Wednesday, July 10th at 9pm, the Crawford Park District will have Introduction to Astronomy.  This program is designed for Middle School and High School age youths.  Join us for an introduction to the night sky.  Participants will each receive a star chart, learn about summer constellations and other celestial objects.  A telescope will be available.  You will need to meet at the Bucyrus Public Library downstairs and then you will go to Unger Park for night sky viewing.  Weather permitting.  For more information or to register, call 419-562-8394 or 1-800-390-8114.

Cruise In
July 20
On Saturday, July 20th, the Gospel Baptist Church will host the 4th Annual Cruise In Car Show from 4pm until 8pm.  Registration will be from 4pm until 6:30pm and the fee is $6.  This is a non judged show that is open to all years of cars, trucks and motorcycles.  There will be 25 trophies given out.  There also will be dash plaques to the first 100 to register, door prizes, trivia games and goodie bags.  There will be food and drink and the proceeds will benefit the Gospel Baptist Church Youth.  Everyone who registers will be entered into a drawing for a 195 piece Craftsman Tool Set.  This event will take place rain or shine and no pets are allowed.  The location of the Church is 5670 St. Rt. 19 in Galion.  For more information, call the church at 419-468-3292.
